Author of "I Killed My Friends and It Thrilled Me"

At last I found a friend
among unexpected places
who knew not to give up
peeking through my many faces
who knew my humid silence
was not mean-spirited at all
who dared to chip away
at my Jungian timid wall.

At last I found a friend
an unannounced big brother
who refused to jeer
and treat me like a crapper.

This is new to me
having an older sibling
though I’m slightly older
he treats me like a seedling.

And now I understand
why I’m on a greener pasture
my roots had turned to legs
no longer weak and fractured.
