it’s a sad, sad day
the neighbors gave the two new
white kittens away

should I be grateful?
I randomly witnessed two
copulating flies

my prodigal cat
is stuck on top of the roof
that Pokemon gym

she’s been there two days
silly girl ignores the tree
right next to the roof

surprise calicos
running to my plate of food
abandoned cuties

they feel at home now
in our house and in my heart
but I pay for food

one pass per household
so I play pretend father
to buy groceries

couldn’t find my way
in the supermarket maze
mom made me a map

now I’m accustomed
supermarket feels like home
can I sleep here too?

some days it’s faster
some it’s really slow like this
queue to the cashier

sweet discovery
in this time of Corona
lost love for ice cream

in one month I dumped
ice cream into my body
I keep getting fat
