With real life is you turn away from validation.
Bye, lights! Bye, circus! Bye, silly charades!
Your time is no longer welcome for foolish parades.
Time flies so fast you just want to savor
Each moment, heart-worthy, you do yourself a favor.
Happy faces in the box, sincerity’s not guaranteed.
You divorce yourself from your social media feed.
