Is that a trove of treasure, those ceramics on the shelf
Or some sacrifice to appease the house elf?
From London, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney,
Some plain-looking, most are so fancy.

The elephant in the room says they’re all the same
Each narrating its own claim to fame.
But they will all get poured with some hot liquid
And when dropped on the floor, be dead and squalid.
