People to admire ain’t staring you in the face,
live a lowkey life, ain’t stealing another’s grace,
face a world challenged in ways you know not before,
and keep it away from the fickle public’s roar.
Tears are enticing but they sure do know better
that no good happens if one lives like a fretter.
It’s not the pity nor the gifts that keep their fire.
The scars on their smiles make them people to admire.
