Moral Crusaders

If you see a moral crusader
you should run, run, run.
hanging out with one
is no fun, fun, fun
they complain ’bout anything
under the sun, sun, sun
might as well kill yourself
with a gun, gun, gun

They think that they
know it all, all, all
with those minds in truth
are so small, small, small
’cause they only and always
walk so tall, tall, tall
and think they’re exempted
from the fall, fall, fall

Ask them who made their lot
the sole judge, judge, judge
they will get mad at you and
hold a grudge, grudge, grudge
from their echo chamber
they won’t budge, budge, budge
think they are clean and shiny with
no smudge, smudge, smudge

They claim to fight for the
common good, good, good
like another modern day
Robin hood, hood, hood
but if you know your literature
as you should, should, should
for the right dear Robin
never stood, stood, stood

Colors they know are only
black and white, white, white
with the halo on their heads that
are so bright, bright, bright
they are prepped and ready
ever to fight, fight, fight
anyone who contradicts them
they give spite, spite, spite

These crusaders they don’t want
us to think, think, think
they’re quick to label anyone
as a fink, fink, fink
but with their bias their brains
daily shrink, shrink, shrink
and the breath from their mouths
always stink, stink, stink

So if you see a crusader
you should run, run, run
before their brittle web is
even spun, spun, spun
once they catch you,
you’ll get shunned, shunned, shunned
you’re better off dying
under the sun, sun, sun
