Enjoy and love the party, I tell myself in mind.
This company’s temporary, I’ll leave it all behind.
Might not be tomorrow, it will be very soon.
I’m a book they borrowed and I’ve shed my cocoon.
Don’t misconstrue my rambling, I’m grateful like before.
But I can see the ending, can’t wait to leave the shore.
