Xeno Hemlock

The son of the night has chips by his side
and a glass of caffeine, his brown eyes wide.
He waits for the hour, the devil, and the witch
to titillate his mindscape and turn on his switch.

Another will have wondered what causes this bizarre
behavior from a still unknown superstar.
Only the devil or the witch or the mystic knows
what the son offers to alleviate his throes.
